Moring Jog to Argilliers

What I see on my morning jogs to Argilliers  This morning, the entire valley smelled like the grape harvest.  The industrial pickers (photo below) were already at work.
An industrial picking machine.  Very different from how we pick Amy's grapes for La Gramiere.  It's loud and indiscriminate with what goes into the bucket.
Saw this  charming little doorbell on my way back through town.

  1. Not the same is it! One of the highlights of our year was always going from farm to farm picking grapes, and going through the process. Now, very few of our neighbours have vines, and all the big growers use machines. Progress I suppose.
