| Salad Night |
Today was Salad Night, a Wednesday potluck tradition with our Vers friends from the neighborhood. We needed to shop for our salad. On Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays Patricia brings her cart to the village square and sells her produce. Patricia is known for her running dialogue with each and every customer. Sometimes the line to pay stretches for some distance while she discusses the latest gossip with her customers. At the end of each transaction she says "Voilà" that comes out "Vwaaaa...la".
